And no, it’s not just my number of new leads generated

It’s this:
My effective hourly rate.
I’m serious.
Time is money, so I need to understand it.
Here’s how I calculate it:
📌 Take total income for the quarter.
📌 Divide it by total hours worked (realistically).
📌 That number = how valuable my time actually is.
For example:
$100,000 in a quarter ÷ 500 hours worked = $200/hour.
Now the magic question:
Am I investing my time on $200/hour activities?
✅ Talking to warm leads?
✅ Strategizing with partners?
✅ Building systems?
Or am I buried in $20/hour tasks like:
❌ Chasing docs
❌ Checking email
❌ Confirming appointments
This one number reveals your biggest bottleneck.
It will expose your poor delegation skills.
It will show you how bad and loose you are with your boundaries.
It will highlight your lack of systems.
And it will force you to recalibrate with a vengeance -- believe me.
Track your hourly rate.
And protect it like your future depends on it.
Because it does.
