Let’s talk about a feeling most high-performing LOs don’t admit out loud:

But not really moving forward.

Here’s what I’ve realized:

90% of the time, you’re not stuck.

‍

You’re just undecided.

‍

You’re sitting in the gray space between two actions.

Should I hire a licensed Loan Officer Assistant or wait?

‍

Should I fire this team member or give them one more chance?

‍

Should I call that Listing Agent one more time to schedule a 1:1?

‍

And instead of choosing, you stall.

‍

You spin. 

‍

You distract yourself with fake urgency.

‍

You write another to-do list. 

‍

You check more emails. 

‍

You check rates. 

‍

You “prep” for that conversation you’re never going to have.

‍

Sound familiar?

Here’s the truth that finally broke me out of that cycle:

Action aka GO!

‍

THIS is the cure.

‍

Not planning. 

Not overthinking. 

Not waiting for the perfect clarity to arrive.

‍

Clarity comes after the move -- not before it.

‍

Courage comes with fear.

It can’t be called courage if there wasn’t fear…

‍

So if you’re feeling stuck, pick a direction and move.

‍

Even if it’s messy.

‍

Even if it’s uncomfortable.

‍

Because forward motion creates options. 

‍

Indecision kills them.

‍

And remember: there are so many people out there that would love to do business with you.

‍
