phewww. that was different.

Just got back from ChicaGO! and I'm BUZZING still.

Not from coffee or lack of sleep (even though I am definitely behind on that).

But really just from being in a room with people who actually showed the hell up.

If you were there, you felt it.

The energy this year hit WAY different.

Nobody came to "network" or collect business cards or sit quietly in the back taking notes they'll never look at again.

People came ready to shift something.

And when 200+ LOs walk into a room with that energy for two straight days…

It's ⚡️⚡️⚡️.

Here's what's got me wired still:

The amount of people who were grinding themselves into the ground trying to outwork problems that don't need more work, and how now they walked away with the right framework and totally different thinking.

Like I'm not talking about some motivational poster BS.

I'm talking about watching people have actual breakthroughs in real time.

The kind that change how they're going to operate for the rest of the year.

Every conversation, every session, every "holy sh!t" moment came back to one point:

The top 1% don't wait for breakthroughs to happen -- they create the conditions for them.

People who are already winning showed up to get sharper.

They didn't come to "learn the basics" or figure out if they should take this seriously.

They came because they know growth doesn't happen in isolation.

Iron sharpens iron.

And when you're surrounded by people operating at that level for two straight days, you either rise to meet it or you realize how much you've been coasting.

The performance sessions, the mental resilience breakdowns, the conversations in between… it all came back to the same truth:

The people who separate themselves aren't the ones working the hardest.

They're the ones building systems, asking better questions, and surrounding themselves with people who refuse to let them play small.

That's the difference.

You either build a season worth remembering or you watch someone else do it.

And this weekend? The people in that room chose to build.

I had conversations that are going to stick with me for months.

Not because someone handed me the answer, but because they pushed me to ask a question I didn't have a good answer to.

That's the stuff that compounds.
