The secret to staying relevant

It’s not exactly kosher to say this out loud, but…
A good chunk of this business is really just about staying relevant.
Yes, you need to be good at all the technical aspects of being an LO.
BUT if you can’t stay relevant, those skills are useless.
So this launch letter isn’t gonna be about programs or products.
It’s about staying relevant.
1. Send real “spontaneous” gratitude.
Not a blast email.
Not a Canva card.
Send a short video, voice memo, or personal acknowledgment notes to:
✅ Your best clients
✅ Your best referral partners
✅ Anyone who made your year better
Real recognition (that’s specific and spontaneous) creates real loyalty.
2. Ask better questions.
Instead of “Just checking in,” try:
“What are you most excited about this year?”
“How are you kicking off your year?”
“What’s one thing you want to knock out before February hits?”
Better questions = better convos = better opportunities.
3. Don’t push. Position.
This isn’t the time to hard sell.
It’s the time to make a good impression.
Drop value.
Share insights.
Stay visible.
So when someone’s ready to make a move?
You’re the only name they remember.
This is how you build brand equity while everyone overly focuses on the technical stuff.
Tradition Loan Officers only show up when there’s a transaction to be had.
Modern Loan Advisors also show when there’s NOT a transaction to be had.
Never forget that if you want a long, successful career.
Whenever you’re ready, here’s how I can help you!
